About this opportunity

Our Strategic Brand Partnership Director is responsible for senior-level client/partner engagement in the North American region. This role is needed for successful planning and execution of shared strategic objectives. You will be a leader with vision who will set the growth strategy for targeted existing and prospective partnerships. You will be a member of the executive team where we are charged with developing overall transportation segment strategy and impacting critical growth objectives. Additionally, this role will in the planning and execution of creative product programs that serve emerging markets needs. We are seeking a business development professional who is experienced in building global strategic product alliances, having a command of emerging business models and their enabling technologies, and with a familiarity of Orthodontic industry business fundamentals.

In this role, you will

  • Own overall strategic alliance partner engagement from strategy to execution for assigned accounts and professional sports teams.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key partner and alliance influencers and senior leaders
  • Evangelize Invisalign product solutions and educate current and prospective partners on new areas of opportunity in collaboration with strategic partners.
  • Drive partnership strategic vision, relationship health, operational roadmap, and defining shared critical and success metrics
  • Support overall strategic planning, roadmap, executive presentations and town hall forums
  • Advocate for new business opportunities that support our partnership objectives; Accountable to frame customer- and business-value for roadmap elements, and prioritize work across multiple products/solutions with an enterprise and overall partner relationship view
  • Recommend value-based prioritization of product features and solutions based on partner/market needs
  • Demonstrate brand value throughout the organization and deepen and strengthen relationships by growing adoption of other products, cross functional initiatives, and international collaboration
  • Onboard new partners throughout the organization with a systematic approach
  • Lead all contract discussions and negotiations including amendments and updated SLAs.
  • Develops and leads mitigation and audit plans.
  • Lead strategic alliance stewardship meetings and executive governance.
  • Lead cross-functional team and champion effective internal and external collaboration on all steps of planning, development and execution for activities supporting partnership goals.
  • Drive efficient business growth in both traditional and emerging partnership lines of business, minimizing expenses and loss costs.
  • In this role, youll need

  • 10+ years relevant experience in brand marketing and/or professional sports teams partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience in a corporate development, business development, or alliance management capacity with a growth mindset
  • Strong analytical skills including command of strategic marketing, financial planning, and business development fundamentals.
  • Experience building and delivering presentations to senior executives in boardroom and other settings.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, creation of convincing and strategic sales approach, proposal, documentation and presentation
  • Knowledge of global healthcare landscape, including emerging insurance business models and technologies
  • Generates new and innovative ways to problem solve
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (US domestic + international);
  • Masters degree (MBA) preferred
